Our Policies


We ship via USPS from Carlisle, PA.  We do not ship over weekends and try to ship all orders within 48 hours.  Some items are made-to-order, so delays may occur.  We pack our orders very carefully, but due to the fragile nature of candy, some damage can occur in shipping beyond our control.  Cold packs may be necessary and additional charges will apply.

Local Pick Up

Some items we make are only available for local pick up.  If an item is designated as such, we will not ship it.  Orders placed before noon on Tuesday-Saturday should be ready for pick up the same day.  Orders placed after noon will be ready the next business day.  Please wait for an email notification that your order is ready before coming to the store.

Local Delivery

We will deliver orders over $25.00 to the local Carlisle area for a small fee.  If you would like your items delivered, please make the "ship to" address the address of your recipient.  We usually cannot do same day delivery, so the earliest delivery that can be made will be the next business day after your order is placed.  Enter gift messages in the comments section.


We are unable to accept returns due to the perishability of our products.  Damage that occurs in shipping is beyond our control and not our responsiblity.  Insurance can be purchased for an additional charge--please request insurance at check out and expect an additional invoice to be sent. 


We do our best to accurately describe and represent our products, but unexpected changes to packaging and products may occur.  Sometimes, we can run out of an item or an item included in a gift box.  We will substitute an appropriate item for gift box orders and refund money for stand-alone products that are out of stock. 


We share equipment for all of our handmade sweets, so cross contamination can occur.  Those with serious food allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and so on should double check with us before ordering.  We are not responsible for allergens in commercial products.
